Playsuit - Marks and Spencer
Shoes - Kurt Geiger

Please ignore my slightly wet and awful hair in this post. Lets just say silver hair does not agree with heat and chlorine.

My Mum spotted this playsuit in a magazine and thought it was very 'me' so bought it for me. What a babe she is! I do LOVE it though! It's quite girly for my normal style so I love making it slightly edgier with a leather jacker and some boots.

I'm still fighting the holiday blues and I'm not ready to accept the Summer is over but I am looking forward to layering up and wearing all my chunky knits.

Dress - Missguided
Shoes - Kurt Geiger

So I've just got home from an incredible two weeks in Lanzarote with my family. I managed to rope my boyfriend into taking some outfit photos for me while out there and fingers crossed he continues because it's so nice having outdoor photos on my blog.

This is one of my favourite dresses from last summer. I sized up as I know Missguided things can come up a little short and I love the loose fit of it.

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you will notice I currently have 11 little puppies in my life which are taking up a lot of time. I've turned into a crazy dog lady so deffo give me a follow if you love cute fluffy puppies (@stylebyali on both)

Hope you are all well

Top - Topshop
Sleeveless Blazer - New Look
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Kurt Geiger

I think these are my favourite photos I've ever posted on my blog! Thank you so much to the beautiful and talented Ellora for taking these for me!

So here is what I wore to the Big Blogger Conference the other week. It probably wasn't the wisest move wearing all black that day as it was RIDICULOUSLY hot (not that I'm complaining.. Please come back sunshine) but all black is my standard uniform. Plus I love the contrast with my hair.

Talking of my hair I have FINALLY got it all one colour after my disaster of getting my roots touched up. It only took 2 months but I am so happy with the colour!!!

Necklace and Earrings - jewellerybox.co.uk

One of the stalls at the Big Blogger Conference was the beautiful brand jewellerybox.co.uk

Everyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with jewellery... I mean come on, I wear 10 rings on a daily basis so this brand was obviously going to be right up my street.

If you haven't heard of the brand before then I strongly recommend you go and check out their website now. They offer such a wide range of items so whether you are into little delicate pieces or prefer more of a statement there really is something for everyone. Plus they are all super affordable!

I was lucky enough to get gifted this beautiful necklace and earrings set from the day and I am in love. How beautiful is the packaging? I almost didn't want to unwrap it. Little delicate necklaces are my fave so this little infinity symbol is a welcomed addition to my collection.

On Saturday I was lucky enough to attend the Big Blogger Conference. It was arranged by the lovely girls from @LDNmeetup (who you deffo need to go and follow) and I can honestly say it was the best event I've ever been to!

We had some lovely chats from Sarah from The Prosecco Diaries,  Elizabeth from Rosalilium and Jasmin from Jasmin Charlotte and I learnt SO much! Whoever though learning about SEO could be fun? They left me feeling extremely inspired and I'm looking forward to growing this little blog of mine into something special.

The next part of the day was meeting the brands. EVERYBODY was so lovely and welcoming and it was such a pleasure to hear about the products in such detail. I am going to be writing more detailed posts about the brands so keep an eye out for those.

I met so many beautiful ladies that day (massive shout out to Jess & Ellora who put up with me all day)

I just want to say a massive thank you to Lauren, Jenny and Abi for organising such an incredible day! You did an amazing job and should be very proud!

Dress - Topshop
Jacket - Levi - Vintage
Boots - Kurt Geiger
Hat - Topshop

First of all apologies for the quality of these photos. Blogger has made them look incredibly grainy and horrible!

So this dress has shrunk majorly since I first bought it a couple of years ago. I do have to wear some little black shorts underneath but I just can't bring myself to get rid of it. I love pairing cute dresses with chunky boots and making the outfit look more edgy and less girly. This is another pair of Kurt Geiger boots that are now on Shoeaholics for loads cheaper .(Oh how I miss my KG discount). They are so comfy and looks good paired with so many different outfits.

I posted this jacket last summer on here and I've bought it back. My Step Dad got it second hand in 1964 when he was a teenager and I love how it's been customised over the years, especially the Sgt. Pepper's patch on it.

I have finally had my roots done since taking these photos but I'm having major issue matching my yellow roots to the rest of my silver hair. NO toners or dyes seem to be working so I've been walking round with bad hair for about 3 weeks now. Any hairdressers out there that can give me advice? Nothing seems to be toning them! I also have stained purple patches from the directions lilac dye.... NOT COOL!!! Hopefully this will all be sorted soon as I cannot take outfit photos until it's fixed.

In the summer I'm drawn to bright coloured nails. Coral colours are my favourite when it comes to lipsticks so when I spotted this beautiful coral nail varnish from Essie I fell in love. Essie is by far my favourite brand when it comes to nail varnish as I find them extremely long lasting, have a really lovely brush so they glide on perfectly on your nails (which is helpful for someone like me who is usually very messy at painting their nails) and the colour range is incredible! At £7.99 some people may think this is a bit expensive but sometimes I think it's worth it for better quality.

This colour looks even better on me since getting a tan so this is definitely going to be my go to summer shade.

What are your favourite Essie colours?
